Home at last…

Seattle, how I’ve missed you. Got home today. Yes, home. In Seattle. Phenomenal. Chris asked me as he dropped me off at my house: “So we were in Redding for a month. Does that qualify as living there?” He said he thought it did. I agree. After all, he got mail there. I’ve lived only three places in my life: Woodinville, Seattle, and Redding. Cool.

Got up at 730 today to get some breakfast and be on the road by 9. We were pretty close. After we got Jamba Juice, had a bagel, and got some coffee, we were on the road by about 915. Pretty close. Which is good because Chris and Wayne run a tight ship when it comes to driving.

Today’s driving was Hades. Remember that it took about 9 hours to get down to Redding? Well, it took about 11 1/2 to get home. Remember how we had to stop for gas once on the way down to Redding? Well, we had to stop 3 times on the way home. It was a lot of fun though. I was in the Scion with Carley, Chris, and Chach. All three of them are great. I think I like Chach most though. :-) Not a lot to say about the trip other than I love Carl’s Jr. That’s really it. I love it better than any fast food restaurant besides In ‘n Out, Dicks, and Arbys. So really, I just like it about the same as most other places. Except that it’s only in western Washington in Fife or some crazy city like that.

So not a lot to blog about tonight, other than I came home, shared with my parents about what God is doing and went for a drive downtown for over an hour and a half. Now I’m back sitting on my couch about to open up the bed and sleep until noon tomorrow. Yes, Chris, noon. Praise the LORD because His mercies are new every afternoon.

Good night, Redding….
